When "No Results" come up on a search, at least show in-verbatim, what information the Search Engine was using. In some search engines, it wont accept Boolean and accept a double-quote as part of the search:

e.g. ' +"stupid search engine" ' was not found

The user can then see that it was because the engine was accepting the quotes instead of using them as Boolean Reserve Words. This way someone searching can better analyze why the search failed.

"stupid search engine" means to look for that literal string, it's just a text delimiter, not sure how you are interpreting this as Boolean, it is not the same as stupid AND search AND engine. If you have a question about how the search works on this board, why not just ask?

BTW, when I looked at your example of:
' +"stupid search engine" ' was not found

It looks like it looked at the search with single quotes around it, which probably wasn't typed as the search. To me, that would be more confusing.

BTW, I did your search without the quotes, and it found this post. My personal recommendation would be to not use quotes in your search.
