hi
if i have a list on Sheet 1, containing clients

A1 = heading
A2 - A5 = Client 1
A6 - A7 = Client 2
A8 - A13 = Client 3
etc, etc...though this can be different each time

is there a easy macro i can use to show only one of each entry in, say, cells A2 downwards on sheet 2

currently i am using macro that calcutes the "one of each list" using data - filter - advanced filter -unique records only...this is then linked to a combo box allowing users to make a choice

hope ive been clear
thanks
Andy

Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
I'm curious as to why your current way is not satisfying your needs. From your post, this seems to be the most efficient way, unless of course there is something else you need.
