Show blank if cell is blank

Hi Guys!

I feel that this is a simple problem, but I am unable to fix my formula.

Say, on A1 I have 1 date, another date on A2. e.g

A1 date = August 4, 2017
A2 date = August 5, 2017

on A3, I have this formula: =IF(A1="","",TEXT(A1,"mmmm dd, yyyy")&" until "&TEXT(A2,"mmmm dd, yyyy"))

On this formula, it' doesn't show a blank cell when A1 is blank.

See if this fixes it for you:

=IF(OR(A1="",A1=0),"",TEXT(A1,"mmmm dd, yyyy")&" until "&TEXT(A2,"mmmm dd, yyyy"))

instead of comparing values... use the IsBlank fucntion

...On this formula, it' doesn't show a blank cell when A1 is blank.

Then A1 is not blank. If there is a formula in A1, perhaps it is returning " " (with a space)?
Based on Post #2 , if that worked, then A1 contained a zero?
