Hi

Trying to get a cell I14 that has a formula that gives a calculation based on data in cell D35*D36 to show blank until a number is entered in cell B14

Basically in cell D35 is the number 74, I14 multiplies this number by data in D36 (=D35*D36)

Hope this makes sense

Thanks Craig

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hello Craig

Enter this formula at I14 :-

=IF(B14<>"",(D35*D36),"")

That works great but now i get Value in L14 which has this formula in it =(H14*I14)+(B14*J14)

What do you mean by this ?

Perhaps you can post a small table to show an example on what you want.

Don't think you can attach it here. What I do is copy paste from Excel example.

<style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--></style>
<colgroup><col style="width: 100px"><col width="100"><col width="100"><col width="100"></colgroup><tbody>

A
B
C
