Shortcut Key doesn't work

Hello All,

I have assigned shortcut key "Ctrl + Alt + 1" to open excel sheet "My Names.xlsx". But when I restart the computer it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

what steps did you follow when you assigned the shortcut key ?

what steps did you use after you rebooted your computer ?

Hello jsotola,

I put the shortcut keys C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\_hotkeys

and it works for me now .. thank a lot!!
