Shortcut for degree symbol and delete space

Hi There. I have created an auto correct entry for entering degree C and degree F where degree is actually the degree symbol oof for degree F and ooc for degree C). But in order for it to work, it has to be a separate word. So I end up entering 20 oof and there is a space between 20 and the degree F symbol. This is what I want to eliminate. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

This formula returns 20 followed by the degree symbol followed by F - no spaces throughout:

=20&CHAR(176)&"F"

Try typing your number and then (without needing the space) type ALT+0176 (type those numbers from the Number Pad only) and then follow it with F or C.
