Hi,
I have a spreadsheet, Jan to December each month has volume.
It looks as a whole number, but when you click on cell it shows 1.23 and so on.
Any way to convert to whole number within the same cell range, AR6 to BC1750.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
You can format any numeric cell to any format you want (to show as many decimals as you want).
As you saw, that typically does NOT change the underlying value - only the displayed value.

However, there is an easy way to make the stored value match the displayed value.
See here: Set rounding precision - Microsoft Support.
