Hello Wonderful People,
I hope the title makes sense....
In this workbook I have names in column C (C12:C312). The names are a concatenation of adjacent cells from two columns (first names and surnames) in another linked workbook (sorted by surname) and don't cover the whole range - there are blanks after the last name.
Columns G13:G312, I13:I312, K13:K312,M13:M312, O13:O312 of this workbook contain manually typed in scores for respective names in column C, along the same row. That is name in C15 has associated values in G15, I15, K15, etc.
My problem is this: when a new name is entered in that linked workbook, and column C12:C312 of this workbook gets updated, I'd like the respective/associated values in G13:G312, I13:I312, K13:K312,M13:M312, O13:O312 to shift/sort along with the new order in column C.
So, if Bob Baxter was in C15 and his scores were in G15, I15, K15, M15, O15, and a new name displaces Bob Baxter to C20, Bob's scores that used to be in G15, I15, K15,M15, O15 should now be in G20, I20, K20, M20, and the new name in column C (say in C12) should have blanks across G12, I12, K12, M12, O12.
If that's possible, I'm hoping someone can shed some light and assist me here. If the non-contiguous range (G13:G312, I12:I312, K12:K312, etc) would pose a problem, I'd be willing to rearrange the columns.
Thanks.
