Hi,

I have not had a viable solution to share a workbook. Does anyone know how?

I have not had a viable solution to share a workbook.
Maybe because you haven't asked ;)
Shared workbooks are limited in what you can & cannot do, also they are (IMO) flaky at best.
I'd recommend you steer clear of them.

May I ask what alternatives then? I have workbook that can be used here by up to 5 users.

If you have excel 2016 of 365 then there is something called co-authoring, but as I'm on 2013, I know nothing about it.
Otherwise you could have a number of files that all report back to a Master file.
It all really depends on your workbook & what everyone needs it for.

We are using Excel 2010 here. The workbook is to track service repairs that have complaints by the customers and the techs will estimate and repair when approved. There will be labor and parts associated with each work order.

You could have a workbook for each Tech that can pull data from the Master & then update the master at the end of the day

That might be a possibility thank you. I will get to work on that tomorrow.
