Sharing tables

The company has an Access database which amongst other things has a table containing the details of over 5,000 members of staff, i.e. name, e-mail address, etc. which is used as personnel records.
I have a separate database which sends e-mails to members of staff where a certain criteria exists, and for reasons of integrity must remain as separate databases. (they won't let me loose on corporate systems!)
As new members of staff arrive, or personnel changes are made, I have to update both databases with the personnel details, and would like to combine the process.
Can No2 database 'lookup' data in the 'company' database, so in effect, only the 'company' databases needs to be updated, and the first will reflect those changes.

I suspect that this may be a fundamental process, but I am relitively new to databases, and would appreciate any guidance.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
This may not work with your existing setup, but if you alter the control sources it might be a solution.

If you create a new table in DB2 and link to the table in DB1 then the changes made in one will be reflected in the other. If you experiment with it you will be able to reset the control sources in DB2 to point to the linked table instead.
