Sharing Custom Ribbon

I have a very large, complicated workbook that I created back in the pre-ribbon days that we use every day. Each day, it creates a new worksheet and when the workbook is closed, it renames the sheet based on the date and saves it as a separate workbook. Then, 5 days later, the new workbook is reopened and completed.

I created a custom ribbon XML so that when I copy the workbook to another computer, the macros would work without having to manually redirect them. The ribbon is working for the most part- I even copied the workbook to a different computer and the ribbon worked (YEAH!).

The remaining problem: When the original workbook reopens one of the 5 day old sheets/books in a new window, they don’t have the custom ribbon.

Question: Can I set it up so that any workbooks that are opened from the original workbook will display the same custom ribbon? Or can the new workbooks be saved with the custom ribbon linked?

Thanks.

Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
