My worksheets need to be protected (UserInterfaceOnly). When I save the workbook (for shared use) and re-open it .... I have to protect again with UserInterfaceOnly = true ... but protection with password is not allowed in shared use!
Is there any way to keep the userinterface of my worksheets protected and make it available for shared-use?
(I also need it to set AutoFilter On).

Thanks in advance,
Ton

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
How about an auto_close macro that puts protection on and saves the workbook before it closes?

That doesn't work.
When opening the worksheet, it's NOT protected with UserInterfaceOnly. I still have to re-protect the worksheets for this UserInterfaceOnly and that is not allowed in shared mode!
I get the impression that I want to do something that is really impossible!!??
Or ... does somebody know a solution for (a part of) the problem?
