Sharing a spreasheet that is connected to a SQL server

I have a spreadsheet that I developed that has 4 connection to the SQL server database. Is there a way to pass along the connection information (A specific user was created with read-only access). So that all of our salepersons can use it without having to enter the connection informaiton?

Or is this a bad idea?
