Is it true I cannot share my excel file created with Powerpivot with someone who does not have Powerpivot installed as they won't be able to slice/dice/filter?

What I've read is that the only way around this is via Powerpoint for Sharepoint (which the company I work for just upgraded Sharepoint and did NOT choose the Enterprise version of Sharepoint that is required as they tell me it would have been 100k more).

This is what I've found and was hoping someone can confirm before I give up on the Powerpivot route completely (for now at least).

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
unfortunately, if they don't have the same version of powerpivot that you're using then they won't be able to slice/dice/filter anything. You might want to for a cheaper method like Hosted Powerpivot from companies like Portalfront.
