Hi, I have a workbook with 4 sheets, each were individually password protected. Since putting the workbook in share mode the ability to password protect each sheet has been greyed out.
Is it possible to have both options availble?

Thank you
Emma

No, it isn't. You can't change protection in a shared workbook. If you are using 365 and can put the workbook in sharepoint/onedrive, then you can allow collaboration without needing the old shared workbook functionality (which was riddled with problems in my experience).

Thank you for your response, do you know if there is a way to do this with coding?

The only way is for the code to essentially unshare the workbook, change protection, and then reshare it. That would necessitate kicking out anyone else who is in the workbook at the time, and there would be no guarantee that any changes would be properly synchronised. In all honesty, I would never recommend using the old shared workbook function.
