So,

I have this shared workbook some of some areas are protected and i have attached other word and excel documents on two of the columns so lets say M & N columns. Now when I protect and share it, users are not able to doubble click on those attachments and so they cant see those attached documents.
Is there anyway that I can accomplish this task? I know Excel have limitations in shared workbook. I am using Excel 2003.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Hi there,

unshare your workbook again, now select the that contain these attachments, go to format cells (Ctrl+1), go to the protection tab and uncheck the locked box.

now share your workbook again it should work now

If you are still searching for an answer to this, when you elect to Protect Sheet, below where it says "Allow all users of this worksheet to:", scroll down the list to the bottom and select "Edit Objects", then click "OK". I'm using Excel 2007, but if memory serves me correctly, the file protection window in 2003 is set up the same way. Hope that helps!
