Folks
I've read about Microsoft slowly rolling out more security for macro-enabled files, but this issue has only just started.
I share some synced files on OneDrive with another user, at a different location.

Yesterday, I opened one of the .xlsm files, and had the red warning banner that macros had been blocked..

Despite having read loads of support documents about this, I can't find a solution.

I don't think it's a 'Mark of the Web' issue, as there's no checkbox option to 'Unblock' this in the file's properties.

I've tried adding various URLs to the 'Trusted Sites' section of 'Internet Properties' including https;//onedrive.live.com but to no avail.

I Neither have I found any similar threads about this on here, but I assume it's going to affect many users, soon.

Any ideas.
TIA

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
I have the same problem, my shared One Drive files are kept on the local drive of shared user. However security risk comes every time I open a .xlsm file.
Have also tried all I could find on web discussions but no luck.
waiting in hopefull anticipation of resolution.

I have the same problem with shared One Drive excel files. Here's a link Windows Insider to my Microsoft Feedback Hub post. Please upvote to try to get Microsoft's attention. I created this after a support session with a level 2 Microsoft support. person.
