Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to share an excel workbook on Sharepoint with different users who would each have a different view.

The end goal would be that each user would be able to edit on the excel file at the same time.

For instance, let's say that I have an excel file with 5 worksheets ( Home, Sales, Marketing, Human resources, Accounting):
User 1 would have access to the following sheets : HOME and Accounting
User 2 : Home and sales
User 3 : Home, marketing
User 4 : Home and human resources
User 5: Access to all sheets (MASTER)

I have already browsed different similar request but it's not exactly what i wanted. The closest one would be the third post on this thread:
Password Protect Viewing for Multiple Worksheets

It works perfectly, but only if I'm not sharing it.

When it's on OneDrive/Sharepoint though, if I open the file with the view of user 5 (Master) and user 2 open it at the same time, Excel kicks me out of the file and gives me the same view as user 2.

Is there a way to make it so that everyone can keep their view and continue editing in the same file?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
I have the same exact question except that I am sending it to 1000 users
