I've been tasked with adding stupid arrows to our metrics per the governance of our metric process... yay!...... sigh....

So, what I essentially need to do is create an IF statement (I think), that says...

When this metric (cell) stays the same, use the RIGHT Arrow shape and color it Yellow

When this metric (same cell) shows an upward trend, use the UP Arrow shape and color it Green

When this metric (same cell) shows a downward trend, use the DOWN Arrow shape and color it Red.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? I've looked around online but I can't begin to read the script they write and it seems to be custom to their needs.

Any guidance or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - STEVE
