Severely corrupted excel file - what are my options?

I've tried the following, but none of these worked. What else can I do?

- Tried Excel repair
- Change the Security settings of the file to Everyone
- Disabled Protected View under Trust Centre settings
- Downloaded a few third party repair software but to no avail. The error message from one of the softwares stated that the file is severely corrupted

Any help would be appreciated!
