Hi,

I want to set a string variable to the workbook name.

Dim MainWkbook as string
Set MainWkbook = ThisWorkbook
Windows(MainWkbook).Activate

This does not work?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
"Set" is only used when setting Objects, not Strings.
You need to declare it as a Workbook object.

Try this:
VBA Code:
Dim MainWkbook As Workbook
Set MainWkbook = ThisWorkbook
MainWkbook.Activate
