Hey guys,

I don't know if I used a title, which represents my problem. My english is not the best, but I try to describe my problem.

I got a big database for which I was asked to create some reports. This database contains printer Data like "i got an error" or "My Cartridge is nearly empty"

Also, in this database there are the printers' warranty-date.

==========

Now a little bit about my task:
I have to create a report which shows the amount of errors per Date. (no Problem). No I want to set the range, in which the data is displayed by slicers.

e.g. I want to show the amount of errors BEFORE warranty-End, and AFTER warranty-end.

I don't know how I can realize this and I hope you could help me.

If there are further questions, ask me!

Chris

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
If I understand you correctly, you should be able to create these ranges within your power pviot date columns using if statement. This should catagorize the data you wish to compare and also create a slicer value to import.
