sequential numbering 1,1,2,2,3,3

how to sequential numbering like this :
1
1
2
2
3
3
etc..

any help...thanks so much

Give this formula a try...

=ROUNDUP(ROWS($N:N)/2,0)

where you would substitute the row number you are putting the formula in initially for both of the N's.

Put 1 in A1 & A2, Select Ai:A2 and drag down.
That just produces all 1's for me.

Other options..
a) Manually put a 1 in A1 & A2 then in A3: =A1+1 and copy A3 down

b) Put a 1 in A1 then in A2, copied down, =A1+MOD(ROWS(A$1:A2),2)
