Hi all, im sure theres a simple answer to this but im struggling - as usual :D haha
the code below inserts a new row and stamps a unique id in cell b using the date and time with a prefix "GO"
Rather than stamping the date/time id like it to stamp A00000 then A00001 and so on.
If i add a blank row then delete it, it would need to be the next sequencial number from the previous entry as not to skip ID numbers
THANK ALOT GUYS :D

Code:
Sub AddRow()
Dim sht As Worksheet
Dim LastRow As Long
Dim Prefix As String
Set sht = ActiveSheet
Prefix = Range("b2")
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
LastRow = sht.Range("A:A").CurrentRegion.Rows.Count
Range("Sheet2!A1").EntireRow.Copy
Range("A" & LastRow + 1).EntireRow.Insert
Range("A" & LastRow + 1).EntireRow.Hidden = False
Range("B" & LastRow + 1).Value = "GO/" & Format(Date, "ddmmyy") & Format(Time, "hhmmss")
Application.CutCopyMode = False
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
