How to select smallest value from the range given ignoring the sign.

Enter as an array (Ctrl, Shift & Enter)

Perhaps you could give us a bit more information, like what signs to ignore and what format the numbers,text are in?
Have you tried the SMALL function?

It should show minus sign in the resultant cell, if it is negative.

yes.. it is working but not showing the sign(in case of negative number)
