Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi haseft

Can you use the Rows() and /or COLUMNS() Functions to get the row and column of the cell with name and then use that to select?

If the name a named range, or the cell content is a name?

Solution
A correction:
actually I want to select rows between activecell and the row with Range(n + "sist")

Code:
Dim n As String
Dim r1 As Long
Dim r2 As Long

n = ActiveCell.Name.Name
r1 = ActiveCell.Row

ActiveSheet.Range(n + "sist").Select
r2 = ActiveCell.Row

Range(r1:r2).Select
Selection.Cut
