select a value from dropdown list via EXCEL VBA

i want to select a value from dropdown list and have tried below code, but can't work.
please take a look:

Welcome to MrExcel. Try this code - note that option elements are indexed from zero, so selectedIndex = 1 is the second option.

With ie.Document.getElementsByName("fldcustval")(0)  '(0) is 1st element with name="fldcustval"
