I wish to make an xls file avaliable to specific members on a website. Access to that section of the website is password protected. To protect the document while being downloaded from the web server I planned on enctypting the xls file itself. That way it would be safe if intercepted along the way.

My question is- how does the encryption work in Excel? I can choose from a number of different forms of encryption (i.e.- RC4 Microsoft Strong
Cryptographic Provider -128 key) but which one will be correct? Is this a good way to protect a document? It appears that this would work as good as getting an SSL certificate from the webhost provider.

Any insight would be appreciated.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
