We have a file server that everyone in the office is connected to. We all need to be able to look at files on the server.

How can I protect us from a file being deleted or moved, without changing their ability to view the file or save files?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Your IT dept should know how to do this as basic standard, have a word with them and they can walk You through it.

It is just access right and policys that need to be set

Suggest Read and Write no delete should be fine Admin can get arround this
