hey there, first post so bear with me!
im given a problem and explicitly asked for the secant method, and understand the basics, but have only seen it used in examples that are squared or cubic...
im given, numerically, an initial concentration (Xo) and the concentration of fluid being added (X_in)
and the formula for the concentration
X= X_in(1-EXP(-0.05t))+ Xo*EXP(-.05t)
how would i set this up (excel 2007)? does anything change from what im used to with cubics and such?
