When I do a search, and view one of the results, I cannot click "back" and se the search results again. Is it just me? Annoying! Temporary I hope...

That was always the case even before we upgraded, actually.

I think it's just something with php in general. It happens to me on several different boards--sometimes the keywords I enter are still there, other times they're gone... *shrug*

I got in the habbit of holding my shift key while I clicked on the link.

You should have got the error message about the POSTDATA expiring from your cache. Data needs to be resent .. blah, blah. What browser are you using? I believe you can supress this error through some php coding.

I go to search page.
I search for E.g. "SUMPRODUCT"
I get hundreds of answers.
I view one of the threads.
I click "back".
I get the "Page cannot be displyed" page.

That did not happen before the upgrade. And it does not happen at simmilar searches on other pages.

I use IE 6

Unable to duplicate your problem with IE SP2. I do get the POSTDATA error with FireFox on occasion though, which as stated can be supressed by some php coding. It is hit and miss for me, and I believe it has to do with the way your Broser handles it's Cache. Have you thought about using another browser? Have you ever tried Konquerer?

Nate: Why use the Shift key? Why not just use tabbed browsing in FireFox.

I prefer alt-tabbed browsing with IE.

Thanks for all bright ideas

Appears it is just my new computer that does this (IE6 SP2) not my old one.

Any idea what setting i might need to change?

(But it did start with the bord upgrade :devilish: )

I"m ie6 sp2 and never had the problem..
could it be your firewall?
put mrexcel as a trusted site with laxer rules?
