Search Term with Result on Excel Calendar

I'm using Excel 2011 for Mac.

I'm posting because I haven't figured out how to search for what I'm asking.

I help out at a theater that uses an excel worksheet online for it's calendar.

I would like to be able to add a search box to the page, where performers can enter by the name of their group ("Torque," for example) and it will show them what dates their shows are going to be.

Ideally, it would search for the name of the group, and then pull the date from the column above it, then place that bit of info in some "results box."

BUT if that's wildly unrealistic, perhaps some way of dressing up the regular search function and it's highlighting of their shows --some box they enter the info into, some way to make the interface easier-- would help too.

And feel free to drop any pointers on how I could have searched for this... I mean, what terms I should have used, and how I could have figured this out on my own.

I've realized I'm out of my depth on this question, and greatly appreciate any advice you might have.

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
If it were me, I would use conditional formatting along with a list control. Let them choose their group name from the pop-up list. Color the cells based on the option they choose.
