I love this website, but I'm having some problems with the search engine that seem to have started after changes were made. Two issues - the first one is speed; it takes a long time to pull up questions. The second is that I cannot seem to get the filtering to work. For example, I put in "date format" and it pulls up over 8000 responses, and a lot of them have nothing to do with date format. am I doing something wrong? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should post this in the "About This Board" section of the forum to get replies from the moderators of the forum.

Note: You can search that forum too. I am sure you will find some answers that way.

1) We know about the board being slow at times, it's being looked into.

2) We also know that the board's built-in search feature sucks, to put it lightly. Check Nate's post about searching the board in the Announcements forum for tips on using Google to search the board instead.

thanks for the tips, will look into using the google search. DBrasel
