Search from a range of dates about a specific value

I am looking to make it so if I put in a month it will show all rows associated with a vendors name only if it falls into that month, if nothing leave blank. For example if i search the month of July it will show that vendor "A" has 14 rows associated with the month of July

How about using a Date filter, and filter by month?
