Search for Pound Sign "#"

I'm trying to write a query that returns all records that contain a pound sign.

I was trying: Like '*#*', but that seems to return every record in which that field contains a number.

Is there any way to escape the # so it looks for it literally?

Try this:

Like "*[#]*"

It worked for me on (very) limited testing.
