Hiyall,

I've been working on a dynamic search bar in Excel, following this video, and it works fine.

The formula is :
=IF(I3="","Rien trouvé",FILTER(Table1,ISNUMBER(SEARCH(I3,Table1[Sujet])),"Rien trouvé"))

Or with proper typo :
=IF(I3="","No match",FILTER(Table1,ISNUMBER(SEARCH(I3,Table1[Sujet])),"No match"))

However, it doesn't seem to display meta info from the cell (comment, URL...) meant to make the result a bit more interactive : is it an option I'm overlooking, or a limitation ?

In the attached image, looking for "machine" will display the cell that is containing such additional info, but no active Link, nor a Comment icon.

Thanks for any help or suggestions !

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
As you can see, FILTER only replicate the values of the filtered table

You should filter the original table, to access all the information; maybe you can insert a "Slice" (if there are not so many elements to use as key; see Utiliser des segments pour filtrer les données - Support Microsoft), or could use a macro to filter the table according a cell where you write the key to be used)

Hey Anthony, thanks for replying.

I'm not sure I'm getting how to filter for access to information - I actually don't understand how the Slicing would help and even less how I could implement it =( The same applies to a macro. As I'm unsure as to what exactly I would need to do to *copy* a cell and its information. To me, the formula I copied was supposed to do that already ^^' Sorry for my abysmal lack of skills here.
