Dear all,
I have a table with 34 columns and a couple hundred rows. In column no. 5 there in a name that repeats from time to time.
In a different sheet i want to make a formula that searches the last row where that name appears in column 5 and display that entire row.
Is this possible to make?
if yes, can you help me with some hints how to do this?
Thank in advance!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
below is a formula, i have assumed your table starts in column A and ends in AH, also the name of the sheet where your table is is Sheet1.

=LOOKUP(2,1/(Sheet1!$E$1:$E$1000="Name"),Sheet1!A$1:A$1000)

put the formula in A2 and copy across. This could slow down your excel however.
