Hello guys, so i have this problem in excel where I need a fomula to sort words separated by commas and code(in this case its coded as 1) them individually in each field.

brown, fox, is, lousy, fox, fox, is, bad, fox -- sample word. this is stored in a single field

so as I separate them below will represent as each individual field in excel. the final output would be something like this
The brown fox is a lousy fox. So that fox is a bad fox
1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

hope this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated :) TYIA

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Have you tried text to columns? It is located in Data -> Text to Columns, you can choose how to seperate words, by commas, space.....

I have no trouble on separating the words, the one i need is a formula that can look up to these "brown, fox, is, lousy, fox, fox, is, bad, fox" and code it based on the screen shot. :)
