I am looking to see if a list of values (in a column) appears at all in several different workbooks that each contain about 15 worksheets. I know this is a lot of information to search through so I am a little concerned about performance issues but a macro may be the best solution rather than a formula.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Are all the workbooks to be searched open or do they have to be opened? If they have to be opened, what is the full path to the folder in which they are saved? Are they the only files in that folder? What is the name of the sheet that contains the list of values and in which column is that list? In the sheets to be searched, do you want to search the entire sheet or a specific column? Can a value occur more than once in any sheet? Once found, what do you want to do with the values?

They have to be opened, I can fill in the file paths if you label where in the code/formula to put them. Thanks for the help.

In order to suggest a working macro, I need answers to the questions I listed in my previous post.
