I use a key machine which has a 2gb sd card inside.
When i put the sd card into the pc it is shown as FAT.
The order of the files are perfect of the alphabetical order.

The problem i see is when i put it back into the key machine the order isnt the same as pc and out of sync.

Anybody advise me anything on this.

Thanks

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

It sounds like you have File Explorer sort by the Name column. If you do not already have the View set for Details, click the View tab on the Ribbon, find the Layout panel (group) and click the Details icon. Now click the rectangle at the of the list labeled "Date modified"... that will sort the list by the date the file was last touched. Is that order the order you see in your key machine?

Hi I'm yet to check this as it's 5:40am but I remember seeing that all the files were the same date.

Hi,
The view IS selected as details.
I have clicked the triangle in the box as advised & when i check the files the date are all 31/10/2013
I was asked to select a date of which i selected todays date.
Should the files have then changed from 31/10/2013 to 26/07/2017 as they still show the 2013 date when looking on the pc.

See photo please.

Hi,
Just an update for you.

I think something has now changed.
On my index page there were only 2 rows of text.
These have now swapped places, looking good.

I then check one folder on the sd card whilst in the machine.
The order has now moved around,i took photos before & after to confirm this.

So my last thing i noticed within this folder is still an order issue, see below.

TOY26,D66
TOY27,D66
TOY29,D66
TOY34,D66
TOY4,D66

I thought i would change the TOY4,D66 to TOY04,D66 so it would then fall in line with the others.
After i renamed the file & put the sd card back looking at the order nothing has changed.

Should i quit whilst the majority of the order is correct or shall we continue to sort it,if so how do we proceed please.

Thank you.

Sorry i hit enter to quick.

Having checked another folder i see the following order.

HU100,H8
HU100R,H8
HU50,D00
HU50,D11
HU58,N66
HU92,H8
