Hello,

I have registered in this forum to ask a specific question about something that I was told it's possible and you can help me to find out how to do it. I am doing an experiement in which I ask participants to listen to 40 short phrases in German (e.g., Die Haeuser sind sehr schoen) and to write them down. Now I have their answers in Excell. Is it possible to automatically calculate what percentage of the words they were able to hear and note down? Please note that spelling mistakes do not matter as long as it is clear that the participant heard the word. For example, "Haueser" can be spelled as - Häuser, häuser, Haeuser, haeuser, Hauser, hauser, Haeuzer, haeuzer, Hauzer, hauzer, Hoiser, hoiser, Hoizer, hoizer, Häusa, häusa, Haeusa, haeusa, Hausa, hausa, Haeuza, haeuza, Hauza, hauza, Hoisa, hoisa, Hoiza, hoiza, or any other way that would describe how the word sounds, considering the German spelling system and the possible spelling errors that English speakers learning German could make.

Thank you!
Peter

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
