Hi.
I'm trying to setup a scoreboard which uses a drop down list to show a value from a category.

Once I have the value I want it to change a final sum, so it will subtract or add from a starting total.

So far I've managed to get the tables to give a minus or plus value, but all it does is change the starting total by that ammount, it doesn't give me a 'total sum of all changes'.

Can anyone please help me me, I'm sure there's a SUM or a formula that would change the total sum, and it's probably been asked before, but I can't find anything that specifically does what I need it to.

Thanks in advance.

Allan.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
.
What do you mean by " 'total sum of all changes'. " ?

Can you post a sample of your workbook so far, to a cloud site like DropBox or similar ?
