Schedule dates

I asked previously how to schedule workdays with an open deadline.

Now I want to automate the entry of dates assuming a given deadline. I want Excel to determine the numbers of days from start to finish, then to allocate a date to a particular task.

Lets say a task has 10 steps and I have but 4 days to produce the final job. I want Excel to divide up the days into the 10 steps. Some steps will have to be accomplished on the same date to finish on time. At this point I do not care which steps are double or tripled for a given date.

Any guidance?

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hmm...no one answered? Do a search for ["gantt chart" excel] (without the brackets and WITH the quotes) on Yahoo. There are downloadable files out there for just this thing, I'm sure you'll find it. However, as I recall, you'd have to enter each task separately, not have Excel do that for you. But I'm not sure. Let me know if you CANNOT find that file.
