Scatter Plot with Custom JPG

I am looking to create a scatter plot where each point would be a .jpg that is loaded based on a specific condition. For example, if the X axis referenced months of the year and a point was on x=12 (december), that point would be an image of a Christmas tree. If the point were on x=7 (july), a fireworks image would be used.
