Dear all,

I am struggling with Excel 2010 to create a scattergraph showing which grade pupils received in an exam based on their attendance percentage. The attendance percentage should be on the y axis and the grade should appear on the x axis. Each pupil should therefore be identified by one mark on the scattergraph.

to be able to do what you want you will have to change results from letters to numbers and then you can remove then number axis and put text labels below the horizontal axis to achive what you want. or you can keep the number axis and put a legend at the side stating 1=a 2=b and so on
