First, I rely upon this forum to help me with my job and I thank all of you Excel gurus out there for your patience with those of us who may not be as experienced and/or well versed.
I have been tasked to show some data that I have mined in a graphical format, specifically a scatter chart.
I am a novice to charting/graphing, truly, and while I have searched for several hours today, I can't figure out why I can't make this work.
I have data that represents four hour increments on the weekends, from 1600hrs on Friday to 0800hours on Monday and I want to show the number of events that took place during those increments for a set geographical area, by quarter.
I have tried different ways of listing the data, but none of them are working.
I don't want a bunch of different shapes and colors. I want dots: if there were three events between 0000-0359 hours on Saturday December 26th, then I want three dots.
Maybe I want too much.
Anyone with the patience to help me with this?
Thanks in advance...
