Where do I save the Personal xlsx file so it remains open when Excel is open? I thought it used to the the xlstart or xlStartup Folders.

Where Excel crashes the file closes and my macros aren't unavailable unless I reopen the file.

I had to reinstall Excel this week and am not sure where I need to save it so it is always available.

I just saved it in the XlStart folder. Is this the correct location or is there another location I should save it

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Thank you, looks like I did save it in the right place. I had the file open and hidden and get an error message when I ran a macro. I closed the open file and the macro ran which, to me, means that I save it on the correct location. This is where I save the file saved on my desktop as I was writing the original email you responded to.
