Where Is it better to save recorded macros, "PERSONAL XLSB" or Current Worksheet?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Where Is it better to save recorded macros, "PERSONAL XLSB" or Current Worksheet?

If you save your macros to the PERSONAL.XLSB, you can use it on any workbook you choose. New or existing.
If you save it to a workbook, it will only work on that particular workbook.

I cannot edit my posting above since the time limit has expired. A slight correction to what I said above.

If you save it to a specific workbook, it can only be called or executed only work on that particular workbook. be if that particular workbook is open.

Another difference: if you save them in your Personal.xlsm/b the macros can be executed on your PC; if you save them in the active workbook, they will travel with the workbook.

Thanks so much for taking time to answer my question. I fully understand.
