Saving a CSV File To .VIZ Extension

I am trying to save a .CSV file to .Viz extension as per the instructions here:

But if I click on the file it says:

altman watchlist.viz

It is still an CSV file.

from what i have just read it is a text file "CSV" named as VIZ, does it not import as intended

No it won't import it. Probably because the file looks like this: filename.viz.csv

??

export the file as csv, then when it is closed rename the extension from csv to viz

You mean 'save as'?

Yes 'saved as' CSV file. Closed and right clicked on file. Changed file to filename.viz

Still showing as a CSV file!!!!!

Thanks I have now solved it. I changed the settings in folder options to show extension.
