Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
You can create a button that will save a record by using the wizard on the tool box. I am not sure what you mean by "Edit Operations" so could you please give more detail of what you are trying to achieve.

It saves the record. Useful if you want to print a report based on the form or something. Without saving the record the report wont get it when it prints out.
Saving a record (using the wizard) on an unbound form would do nothing!

hi

Iam going to give the created form for users to enter details of various product suppliers with their bill details.

Now if they want to edit any field's data in a particular record, is there any event procedure to give edit button so that the user will execute that record with a invoice number or any unique number!!

Sorry Suriya I am still not understanding you properly.
A form should allow you to edit a record anyway unless it has had its Allow Edits set to false.
Or are you asking about popping up another form related to the record to do the edits in?

Thanks - I had a hunch there was something I was missing. I was mostly using .requery to ensure the table was updated which amounts to work-around type logic.
